Best Games to Win Real Money
Hey everyone, it's Ahmed here with ozearn.com and hope you're all having a fantastic day today. So you're a fan of gaming and you're wondering how you can turn this hobby into some extra cash?
Well, I have great news because in this article I'm sharing six different apps and websites that pay you real money for playing video games.
One of these platforms actually lets you play popular games like Fortnite and Call of Duty for cash. And another company I'm covering supports over 1500 popular PC and mobile games and is completely passive income.
If you spend any time gaming, this is the article for you. You don't want to miss it. Let's get to the games.
6 BEST Games That Pay Real Money
Buff game
All right, guys, so starting off with the first platform that lets you make money by playing video games is a platform called Buff. And really this option is perfect if you want to play popular gaming titles and earn passive income at the same time while you play.
To get started, all you have to do is download Buff and then run it in the background of your computer. You then begin earning coins passively as you play games and perform well in them.
So you basically download the Buff client, you choose the games you want to play, and then you slowly earn Buff points and coins as you play those games. You can then redeem those points and coins for different rewards, which I'll cover in just a second.
But what's really cool is that Buff actually supports over 1500 PC titles right now. This also includes some popular ones like Dota, csgo, Fortnite, Overwatch, League of Legends, pubg, and plenty of other ones.
What's also cool about Buff is that you can redeem some pretty unique and fun prizes. So on Buff's Marketplace, for example, you can redeem free Steam keys. You can also get things like CSGO skins, gaming merchandise, and various hardware.
But there are also plenty of free gift cards you can redeem as well. This includes gift cards to companies like Best Buy, Amazon, Xbox, Uber eats, the PlayStation Store, and plenty of other ones.
Now, really, the downside of Buff is that you're not making that much as you play. Like you might only earn a couple dollars per month and that's if you're gaming somewhat regularly.
So it's not going to make anyone rich here. But Buff claims that it doesn't slow down your device at all. I tested it out several years ago and I found that was the case as well. Like, it didn't really slow down my computer. And almost 500,000 people use Buff right now.
Buff has recently added mobile games as well, so you can download the Buff app for Android to find even more earning opportunities.
Now again, Buff it won't make you rich, but if you want to play popular games and get paid to do so, I definitely recommend checking it out.
Players Lounge
All right, guys. And the second way you can play video games for real money is to use a platform called Players Lounge. And this is for the competitive gaming fans out there.
So with Players Lounge, you can actually earn real cash prizes by playing competitive games of Call of Duty, Fortnite, NBA 2K, FIFA, and plenty of other titles.
So Players Lounge is basically a platform that facilitates competitive play for cash prizes. And this can be a 1v1 match or even cash tournaments in some of these games I've mentioned.
To get started, you create an account. You then deposit money into your account and you can use this to pay for competitive matches you want to take part in.
Players Lounge says it matches players to other opponents of similar skill levels. You Basically play your 1v1, or you take part in the tournament, and if you win, you get the cash prize.
Now, Players Lounge says you can wager 5, 50, 500, or even $5,000 per game. So it's a pretty serious platform for competitive gamers.
Players Lounge also says it's paid out over $200 million to date to winners, and you can actually cash out right through PayPal once you win.
Now, Players Lounge is one of the more popular competitive gaming platforms out there, but you can search for these and they're all over the place.
Checkmate Gaming is another one where you can find all kinds of cash tournaments to enter. And again, it's pretty easy to find all kinds of cash gaming tournaments or 1v1 tournaments with a quick Google search.
And honestly, I wish this existed back in the day when I was grinding Call of Duty as a kid. But jokes aside, you know, this is really a platform that caters to competitive gamers who want to wager money and take part in real money tournaments.
If you're not good at games, don't do this. Like, don't deposit money. I'm not encouraging people to gamble or encouraging people to spend money on something where they could lose a lot of money.
But if you're actually good at video games, you know, you could try Players Lounge or similar platforms. You could enter free tournaments or very cheap tournaments and just kind of see how you do.
Real Money Games
All right, guys. And the third category of ways to make real money by playing video games is to play real money games.
And I say real money games because this is more of a general category than just one specific game or website. But it's growing rapidly and it's certainly not going anywhere in 2025.
I mean, mobile games are all the rage these days and there are tons of games out there where kind of like Players Lounge, you can deposit money to compete in skill based games against other Players.
Tons of these apps are available on both Samsung, Android and iOS devices. So you have plenty of options regardless of the kind of phone you have. And I'll list out some of the most popular real money mobile games, right, that you can consider.
So first off, there's Bingo Cash, where you play competitive games of bingo against other Players. There's Solitaire Cash, which is essentially the same thing, but you're playing solitaire.
There's Bubble Cash, which is an arcade bubble shooter game where you can earn real money. And then there's Big Buck Hunter, which is like that classic big buck hunting arcade game just on your phone.
Now I've tested out dozens of these apps and it actually might be part of a new series I make where I do a deeper dive on these real money games. So let me know in the comments if that's something that interests you.
But there are so many of these games out there. Now I will say that like Players Lounge, you can lose money with these apps.
So some players will deposit money into these games, take part in cash tournaments, and they don't do that well.
So they lose their tournament buy in and it's actually an unsuccessful side hustle. They lose more money than they make.
And for me personally, I'm not good at mobile games. So when I've tested these apps to write about them on ozearn.com, I've pretty much always lost like five bucks.
I did win a little bit with Bubble Cash and I know some people who have made some decent money with these real money games. But again, you have to be good at the game to make money with the game.
I've also found some Reddit threads where people have made decent money with games like Bubble Cash or Bingo Cash, even a couple hundred bucks per month or some grocery money here or there.
But again, some players lose more money than they make. And this is kind of the nature of real money skill based games.
What is cool is that pretty much all of these games let you cash out right to your bank account or with PayPal, and some of the games pay out $10 to $50 or even more.
So again, there's some decent money up for grabs. Overall, I think it's kind of a strange but rapidly growing space. It's one I'm keeping my eye on and I'm gonna keep testing out these apps.
So again, let me know if you want some reviews on this blog about the most popular real money games. But yeah, if you enjoy mobile gaming and you wanna earn real cash for it, you can consider using some of these apps.
Test em All
All right, guys, and coming in at number four is another app that's a bit newer and it's called Test em All. So Test em All is a new iOS and Android gaming rewards app from justDice, which has a few twists to it.
And, so for starters, with Test em All, all you can get paid to download and play different mobile games in your spare time. This is pretty similar to other gaming reward apps like Cash Giraffe, Mistplay or Rewarded Play, all of which I've covered on this blog before.
And again, the idea here is basically this app will pay you to download and try out different mobile games in your spare time. So if you're already playing mobile games, you can try it out and earn some rewards.
But Test em All also pays you to explore stores in your city and to make purchases from them or just for rating your shopping experience when you go shopping.
And so it's kind of a mix between like a mystery shopping app and a game gaming rewards app. So there's testing opportunities, there's shopping opportunities, and it's a little bit more unique than a lot of the standalone gaming reward apps out there.
Now, I will say the gaming offers, at least when I tried out the app, are pretty much the main way to make money. Like you won't find that many shopping offers, but it is cool that you could see some.
You can also answer in app surveys to earn Even more. And what's nice is that Test em All adds new games quite regularly, so there's usually something new to try.
As for rewards, you can cash out with PayPal payments and various free gift cards. And it only takes $10 to cash out, which isn't the highest in the space.
Now, again, you're not going to get rich with app. You won't be making hundreds of dollars per month. But it's one of the more unique apps in the space and I haven't talked about it on the blog in quite a long time, so I wanted to include it in this article.
Swagbucks
All right, guys. And the fifth way you can play some video games for real money is to use a platform called Swagbucks.
So Swagbucks is a super popular get paid to website. I've covered it on this blog before. I have a review about it and to date it has paid out millions of dollars to millions of members. And it's kind of the king of the reward space.
And what's nice about Swagbucks is there are tons of different ways to earn, including surveys, shopping offers, referral bonuses, and even scanning shopping receipts.
But Swagbucks also has a very robust gaming section where you can basically get paid to play different mobile games or even some PC games, kind of like some of the apps I've covered in this article.
You can see there are tons of different gaming offers, some of which pay out, you know, 5 to 50 or even $75 or more in some cases, across all kinds of genres like action, puzzle, strategy, simulator, and plenty of other gaming genres.
Now, what's also nice about Swagbucks is some of the gaming offers will be free. So you can basically find free games to play. You get paid for completing different milestones in those games and you can earn a couple of bucks.
Now, some of the higher paying offers on Swagbucks might require spending your own money or like a serious amount of grinding to complete. But again, these can pay out 50, 75, even $100 or more.
And what's also cool is there's a community at Reddit "r/Swagbucks" that often has threads where they recommend some of the best games to play for earnings.
Again, a lot of these gaming offers on Swagbucks do require some serious grinding, but it is one of the most reputable, legit platforms out there and it adds new offers all the time.
What's also nice is you can cash out with PayPal or various gift cards starting at just $5, so you really don't have to wait that long to get paid. And I've cashed out with Swagbucks plenty of different times and can confirm it pays.
FreeCash
All right, guys. And the sixth and final way you can earn some real money by playing video games is to use a website called FreeCash.
Now, this is another super popular GPT site. I've covered it on this blog. I have a review about it and I've actually earned over $150 to date with FreeCash. And again, can confirm it pays its members and it is legit.
But yeah, FreeCash is quite similar to Swagbucks and you can basically get paid to download and play different mobile games and then complete in game achievements.
What's nice is there's over 100 offers at a given time, some of which require spending money to complete, while others are free. But again, tons of different offers across all kinds of genres.
FreeCash also has other ways to earn. You can get paid to shop or sign up for subscriptions. You can also answer surveys to make money in your spare time. So it is more flexible than just a gaming rewards platform.
But what I like about FreeCash in particular is that the rewards are pretty unique. So you can cash out with PayPal cash or various free gift cards.
That's nothing new but you can also redeem crypto rewards so you can get bitcoin, free Ethereum, Dogecoin for playing video games.
So if you want to play video games and cash out with crypto, I would definitely recommend FreeCash.
Again, it won't make you rich, but it does pay, it is legit. So I'll be linking my FreeCash review here if you guys want to read it and learn more about using FreeCash.
Conclusion:
Anyways guys, that does it for six different ways you can earn some real money by playing games in your spare time.
And to wrap up this article, I really just want to reiterate that this is not going to make anyone a millionaire. It's not going to let you quit your day job. It's not an online business. It's just a fun side hustle you can use to get a little bit of pocket change.
But if you spend time gaming every single day or every single week, you could try some of these apps out. Or maybe websites like Buff and earn a little bit of extra income for the time you spend playing.
And if you want even more options, I'll also be linking my ultimate guide here to how to make money by playing video games. And it covers over 20 other apps and websites that pay players for completing different achievements or just for trying out new games.
That really does it for this article guys. Thank you so much for reading. I hope you have a fantastic day and week. And as always, don't forget to check out my blog for more unique ways to make and save money. Catch you guys in the next article.
