6 EASY Ways To Get Free Ethereum
Hey everyone, it's Ahmed here with ozearn.com and I hope you're all having a fantastic day today. So the crypto market has been on another bull run as we enter 2025 with Bitcoin even topping 100k back in December of 2024.
Ethereum is also feeling the love, hitting around $4,000 during the same time period. Now I already have a article on this blog about different ways to get free Bitcoin that's super popular.
And so today I wanted to make a similar article sharing six legit ways you can get some free Ethereum to get in on this crypto bull market.
There are perfect ideas in this one for beginners that let you get started even with $0. And one of the ideas I'm covering is brand new to the blog. It's also super passive and pretty cool, so you don't want to miss it. Let's dive in.
BEST ETH Earning Apps
Sensible
Alright, so starting off with the first way you can get some free Ethereum in 2025 and beyond is to use a company called Sensible.
So Sensible is an exciting and new high yield account for cryptocurrency. That's an amazing solution if you want to earn free Ethereum and Bitcoin passively.
Now, Sensible is pretty cool and it's actually backed by Coinbase Ventures, and it basically acts like a regular high yield account where you earn interest, except you're earning interest on your crypto, not fiat.
And so with Sensible right now, you can deposit major cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, and then earn up to 8% APY in extra crypto as a form of passive income.
And so the way Sensible works to let you earn interest on your crypto is through staking, which shouldn't be anything new if you're kind of a fan of crypto already.
And so right now, Sensible can help you stake major blockchains like Ethereum and Solana and help you earn between 2.5% APY and 7.5% API right now.
What's also cool is that Sensible recently added Bitcoin support and it's actually helping you earn up to 8% APY right now.
So again, there's more than just Ethereum here. There's no minimum deposit requirement either, so you can get started with a very small amount of crypto. So again, it's pretty beginner friendly. There's also no monthly maintenance fees. You can withdraw your crypto anytime and there's no withdrawal fees.
And really, one selling point of Sensible is that you maintain custody of your crypto. Sensible isn't allowed to move or sell or do anything with your crypto without your approval. And this is super important because the crypto space has honestly had some pretty sketchy companies in the past where sure, you can deposit your crypto, but it's not actually yours, you don't have custody over it.
So Sensible just helps people earn interest through staking or deposits on their crypto. And again, it's not taking control of your assets according to its website.
Sensible is also nice because it doesn't charge monthly maintenance fees. Instead it just takes 20% of the profit it helps generate. So Sensible is only getting paid when its members are getting paid. Overall, I think it's a pretty exciting new player in the cryptocurrency space.
And again, it's great if you're looking to earn passive income on your crypto. And I wanted to start the article with it because once you earn some free Ethereum with some of the ideas in this article, you can actually deposit them with Sensible and again earn more passive income.
FreeCash
All right guys, and moving on to the second way you can potentially get some free Ethereum is to use a Rewards website called FreeCash.
Now, FreeCash is a global get paid to website. I've covered it before plenty of times on this blog. I have a review on FreeCash where I show how I cashed out with it. And guys, it's a stock standard GPT site, but it's great if you're looking for crypto rewards.
And so to get started, all you have to do is Sign up for FreeCash for free with your email and you can then explore all of the different ways to earn.
Now, what's nice about FreeCash is there are tons of different different earning options at a given time. For example there are tons of gaming offers available. So you can actually get paid to play different mobile and PC games in your spare time.
Some of these offers are for free games and pay a couple of dollars and you can earn much more if you play some of the paid games or real money games that FreeCash supports.
FreeCash also has other ways to earn that don't involve gaming. For example, you can answer surveys in your spare time to earn. And FreeCash also has a lot of decent sign up bonus offers or shopping offers that are basically a form of cash back.
I mean, there are $8 offer I found just for signing up for Coinbase and placing your first trade. That's really not too bad. And FreeCash has all kinds of signup bonus offers and quite a few are actually in the crypto or banking space. So it's kind of a good fit.
As you complete offers, earnings deposit in your FreeCash account and you can then cash out for PayPal cash, free gift cards or even crypto rewards.
So Ethereum is actually available and you only need $2.50 in earnings to cash out Ethereum. And cashing out is as simple as adding your ETH wallet address and then hitting redeem. FreeCash also has Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin as rewards.
Now again, you're not going to get rich by using any GPT site out there, but you can realistically earn, you know, 5, 10, $20 a day with FreeCash if you put in enough effort. And some of the top members on the site are earning hundreds or even over $1,000 per month right now.
Crypto Faucet
All right, guys, and the third way you can get some free Ethereum, it's an idea I covered in my bitcoin article. But it also works for Ethereum and that is to use crypto faucet.
So crypto faucet websites are websites where you can earn small amounts of free crypto by completing simple tasks in your spare time.
Now again, I've covered this idea in my bitcoin article, so let me just go over it really quickly and then I'll share two different sites. Take Cointiply as an example, one of the most popular faucet sites out there.
Cointiply
This is a GPT site with a cool crypto flair. It's free to sign up for and it's globally available. And the main way you can start getting some free crypto is to take spins at Cointiply's Faucet.
So this is basically a random number generator that you can spin every single hour. And based on your roll, you're rewarded a very small amount of points.
Now again, faucets really don't pay that much you're usually earning pennies or fractions of pennies, but you can roll them every single hour or so and they are free to use.
Cointiply also has plenty of other ways you can start earning, including surveys, gaming offers, clicking on ads, shopping online and watching videos.
Now Cointiply doesn't actually have Ethereum as a reward, but it has plenty of other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin available.
So you can basically earn with Cointiply, cash out with one of those cryptos, and then use an exchange to swap your crypto cryptocurrency to Ethereum. And that's kind of how you can get free Ethereum.
Faucet Crypto
Now Faucet Crypto is another crypto site you can check out that's pretty similar to Cointiply. And it also has a faucet for free hourly rewards and tons of task based offers.
Now what's nice about Faucet Crypto is that it has way more cryptocurrencies you can cash out, including free Ethereum. You can also redeem Bitcoin, Binance coin, Dash, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Polygon, Solana, and plenty of other cryptos.
Now again, when it comes to faucets, I wouldn't expect more than a couple bucks per hour at most, maybe even per day. Like these sites really don't pay that much.
But again, we're talking about free crypto here. So this is just a very simple thing. You can open it in a second browser while you work away, spin the faucet every hour, check out a few of the task based offers, and you'll slowly earn some free Ethereum.
Coinbase
Alright guys. And the fourth way you can get some free Ethereum in 2025 is to use Coinbase.
Now I'm sure you know already, but Coinbase is one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world and it actually has a couple of interesting ways that you can earn free Ethereum.
And so just for starters, Coinbase usually has a pretty decent signup bonus for new members who have never been with the exchange before. For example, in North America you can usually get between 5 to $200 in deposit bonuses.
Again based on how much you deposit with Coinbase as a new member. But aside from that, Coinbase also lets you earn through crypto staking with its Coinbase Earn section.
And so this is basically another way to put cryptocurrency. You already have to work for you, so you earn some passive income. And so at the time of me writing this article, Coinbase is currently paying 2.06% APY on Ethereum deposits you stake. It also supports over 100 other assets, with APYs advertised as high as 12%.
Finally, there's also Coinbase Learning Rewards. And this is basically a cool educational section where you earn small amounts of altcoins for completing different educational modules and videos.
And what I like with this section is you just need to watch some short videos, answer a few questions, and then you can start earning some free crypto, which is pretty simple.
Overall there are plenty of options to consider. And again, there is that staking option if you already have crypto and you want to earn some passive income.
Pawns app
All right, guys. And the fifth way you can get some free Ethereum right now is to use an application called Pawns.
Now, Pawns is a pretty cool passive income app. It's something I've covered on this blog as well. I have a review about it and it's another option you can consider if you want kind of a passive, lazy way to get some free crypto this year.
And what's cool is that Pawns kind of has two main ways you can start earning. The first option is to share your unused Internet bandwidth with people to earn passive income. And this is pretty similar to Honeygain.
And according to Pawns, the average person is making about 5 to $140 per month right now by sharing their bandwidth with other people.
Now, I've tested out pawns myself. I live outside of Toronto most of the time and I really wasn't able to share that much bandwidth with people, so I didn't earn that much. But if you live in a major city or you live in North America or Europe, you might be able to share a decent amount and earn some passive income.
Now, Pawns has also been expanding a lot lately, which is why I wanted to cover it again in this article. And there are now some more active ways you can start earning. For example, through the Pawns mobile, you can now answer surveys in your spare time to earn.
And Pawns recently added a gaming section which is pretty similar to FreeCash. So you can get paid to play all these different mobile games in your spare time.
Now, what's nice is that pawns only takes $5 to cash out and you can redeem your earnings for PayPal, Bitcoin and dozens of different gift cards.
So again, kind of like Cointiply, if your goal is free Ethereum, you can Cash out with Bitcoin, move that to an exchange of your choice, and then swap over to Ethereum. So it takes a couple of steps, but it does work.
Crypto Rewards Card
Alright, guys. And the sixth and final way you can get some free Ethereum this year, it's another pretty passive idea, and it's to use a crypto rewards card.
So crypto reward cards are basically the same as like a cash back credit card or rewards credit card, except they pay you with crypto rewards instead of, you know, cash back or air miles or something like that.
And really, these cards have grown in popularity in recent years, and pretty much every major exchange now has a card you can consider. Take the Gemini credit card as an example.
So for starters, it has a new intro offer right now that pays you a $200 crypto bonus. All you need to do is sign up for the card and spend at least $3,000 in 90 days, which is pretty attainable if you put most of your spending on this card. So a $200 crypto bonus is pretty sweet.
And there's also other perks that let you keep on earning. For example, this card also pays you crypto back on every purchase you make. And you earn 4% back on gas, 3% on dining, 2% on groceries, and 1% back everywhere else.
Now, what's cool about the Gemini card is you actually choose the cryptocurrency that gets deposited as a reward in your account. And this can be Ethereum, Bitcoin or dozens of other assets.
On top of that, there's no annual fee and there's no foreign transaction fee. So this is, in my opinion, really one of the top crypto cards out there right now.
Again, Coinbase, crypto.com, binance pretty much every major exchange has some kind of crypto card, so you can research what cards are available in your country and decide if this is right for you.
Anyways, guys, that does it for six different ways you can potentially get some free Ethereum this year to get in on the crypto action.
Again, a lot of these ideas, they're not going to make anyone a crypto millionaire. You're not going to be earning 1, 2, 3 Ethereum per Day. And if you read articles out there saying you'll get all of this Ethereum and you'll earn so much money, those articles are probably scams or they're super misleading.
But really, you can use these ideas to at least get your foot in the door and to get a little bit of cryptocurrency in your portfolio.
And on top of that, some of the ideas, like sensible or using a crypto rewards card are pretty passive, so you don't actually have to do extra work to start benefiting from owning cryptocurrency.
Hopefully one of these ideas works out for you, and if you end up trying one of them, let me know down in the comments below how it goes and how much you end up earning.
But yeah, that does it for this one, guys. Thank you so much for reading. I hope you all have a fantastic day and week. And as always, don't forget to check out ozearn.com for more unique ways to make and save money. catch you guys in the next article.
