6 BEST Bitcoin Mining Apps for Android & iOS

Hey everyone, it's Ahmed here with ozearn.com and we're all having a fantastic day today. So at the time of writing this article, bitcoin is at the highest it's been in about a year and it's worth over 40,000 USD right now.

You know, it really seems like we're having an exciting bitcoin rally on our hands. But if you don't have any money right now to invest in the coins directly, you don't have to sit on the sidelines and miss out.

In fact, you could actually use various bitcoin mining apps on your phone or even your computer to at least earn a little bit of free BTC in your spare time, and completely passively.

All of these methods are perfect for beginners, and one of the methods I'm covering is currently paying people over $100 per month on average in free bitcoin and other rewards.

So get something in this one for everyone, whether you have an Android, an iPhone, or your computer. So let's dive in.

Top Free mining apps

Pi Network

All right, so starting off with the number one bitcoin mining app you might want to check out is to use an app called the Pi Network. So the Pi Network is one of the cooler apps that's developed in the space and it's definitely one of the most popular ones.

And in a nutshell, PI Network lets you mine its own native PI cryptocurrency right from your phone. It's available on both Android and iOS, and the company says it doesn't drain your battery too much and was designed specifically for phone mining.

And you know, this app has over 50 million download. It is by far one of the most popular crypto earning apps.

Now let me explain a little bit about how it works and how you could potentially get some free bitcoin for your efforts. To get started, you just have to sign up with a PI invite code and you can find these all over Reddit or the Internet.

So it's not as exclusive as it makes it seem. Once you download it, you can then tell your device to just start mining PI in the background again. It's like other crypto mining apps out there, so it works passively. You don't have to do anything.

And again, PI says it doesn't drain your battery or destroy your phone or anything like that because it was designed for smartphones.

Now, at the time of me writing this article, one PI token is currently worth about $32. And really the main down downside of the PI Network is that most exchanges don't accept PI tokens. So you can't just, you know, mine some PI, sell it on Coinbase and then get free Bitcoin.

But some exchanges like BitMart are starting to work with PI. So you can try selling your tokens for Bitcoin or another crypto there or for an IOU and then convert that to Bitcoin later on. Some people are also doing peer to peer transfers with the PI network.

And again, it has a super popular and active Reddit community where people are talking about this kind of, you know, solution to cashing out their PI tokens, so it's worth checking out. Right?

CryptoTab

And the second way you can mine some free Bitcoin in your spare time is to use an extension for your computer called CryptoTab.

So CryptoTab is a browser extension you can use on your computer and phone. It has over 35 million members and provides a simple way to begin earning Bitcoin passively with your devices.

So basically, once you download the extension, it just runs passively in the background and slowly mines bitcoin from your devices. And what's kind of cool about cryptotab is you can adjust how fast and how much mining effort it's putting in.

So if you notice Crypto tab is kind of draining your computer a little bit or it's slowing down things, you can always dial it back a little bit and then turn it up when you go to sleep and you want to run it passively.

Now, what's cool is you only need 0.0001 BTC to cash out, which is about 50, so it's not going to take forever to cash out.

And you can also deposit your bitcoin in the NC Wallet. It partners with and earn 6% APY and interest compounds daily.

So it's this kind of cool system where you can mine a little bit of bitcoin deposit in the wallet, earn some passive income that way, and then cash out pretty easily when you're ready.

Now, really, the main downside of Cryptotab in pretty much all of these crypto mining apps is that you're not going to earn that much per hour.

So, yes, it's a way to mine Bitcoin for free on your phone or your computer, but just have some realistic expectation because again, the earning is pretty slow. So you have to test it out to kind of figure out how much your devices can earn and if it's worth it for you.

Coin app

And the third bitcoin mining app you can use isn't actually for Bitcoin, it's for a different cryptocurrency. But you can eventually get bitcoin, and it's the Coin app.

Now, this is a pretty interesting crypto app I've tested in the past, and I have a review on this blog about the coin app, and let me just explain how it works in a nutshell.

So, the Coin app is a passive income app that lets you earn crypto rewards for exploring your area, answering surveys and sharing your data. And you can cash in your earnings for popular cryptos like bitcoin or even physical merchandise.

So the app is kind of like Sweatcoin, if you guys know that app that pays you for, you know, sharing your fitness data. And it basically lets you earn small amounts of coin, the app's native token, just for exploring your city and geo mining.

So again, all of this happens completely passively as you run the app. You can also earn additional coin with some more active offers, like walking into physical stores or visiting certain stores in your city, or completing surveys through the app.

And what I like about this crypto mining app is that you can convert your coin tokens into popular cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, the downside is that you need a ton of coin tokens to cash out through Bitcoin or Ethereum.

So again, it's one of those bitcoin mining apps that doesn't pay that much, but is very passive and kind of cool. You can see that one Ethereum currently costs about 3.7 million coin tokens.

So again, it's really a slow earner and it takes a while to cash out. Now, I have seen some reviews on Reddit where people who travel a lot for work or who are very active earn quite a bit with coin and people have cashed out.

There's payment proof online for me when I tested out the app, because I work from home and I, you know, not always traveling, I really wasn't earning that much per day.

So again, like other bitcoin and crypto mining apps, your mileage is going to vary. So it might be a great earner for you if you travel a lot and if you're willing to do some of the more active offers, but it might be a slower earner if you don't travel that much.

Cointiply

The fourth way you can mine some free bitcoin in your spare time is to use a website called Cointiply.

Now, Cointiply is a free get paid to website with a bit of a crypto twist because it actually has a bitcoin faucet where you can earn small amounts of bitcoin every hour.

And so the way bitcoin faucets work is pretty cool. You basically spin a random number generator every hour and it rolls a certain number and then you get a very, very, very small amount of bitcoin depending on what your role is. And certain roles that are rare pay you more than the more common rolls in a nutshell.

Now Cointiply's bitcoin faucet again barely pays. You're getting satoshis from it, not even fractions of bitcoins because satoshi really small increments of bitcoin.

So again, you can roll it every hour. It's fun, it's kind of luck based. And if you do get a little bit lucky, you might actually earn a very small fraction of a bitcoin or a lot of satoshis.

So again, kind of luck based. But what I like about Cointeply is that it has plenty of other more active and passive options for earning.

For example, you can answer surveys, you can play games, you can shop online, you can watch videos for money, you can even get paid to click on ads.

So again, like I mentioned, a GPT site with a bit of a crypto flair, and it also has some pretty unique and cool crypto rewards. For example, you can withdraw your cointiply coins for Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Dash or Litecoin, and you only need $3 to cash out. So it's not going to take you forever to get some of those crypto rewards.

Overall, I think Cointiply is one of the higher paying options out there for getting free Bitcoin in your spare time, especially if you do some of the more active offers like playing games or answering surveys.

But if you want a free chance at some bitcoin every hour, I think it's Faucet is pretty cool and worth checking out I a review on this blog as well if you want to learn more.

Pawns

And the fifth way you can mine some free bitcoin is to use the Pawns application. And this is another app I've mentioned on this blog before in my articles on Passive Income, and it's neat because it has a few ways to earn, some of which are passive and some of which are more active.

So the first way to earn with Pawns is to share your Internet bandwidth as a node in its VPN network. This is a similar concept to an app called Honeygain, which I've also covered on this blog. And you're basically selling your unused Internet bandwidth to pawns so its customers can use it.

Now, according to Pawns, members are earning anywhere from 5 to 140 US dollars per month with this feature right no. So I think that's pretty cool. And you know that could potentially be 100 USD or more worth of bitcoin in your pocket every month just for selling your Internet bandwidth. You can also answer surveys with Pawn's mobile app to earn.

So again, that's the kind of more active side of the platform if you're interested in earning more and you only need $5 to cash out, which is nice, and you can cash out with PayPal or dozens of free gift cards. But Pawns also supports Bitcoin payments in plenty of countries and it's globally available.

So yeah, in a nutshell, it's kind of a cool way you could convert some of your unused Internet bandwidth or free Bitcoin or maybe answer surveys in your spare time to get some free bitcoin. It's not exactly mining, but it's similar because you're you know, selling your Internet bandwidth to get some crypto.

FreeCash

The sixth and final way you can get some free bitcoin in your spare time is to use FreeCash in again. This isn't exactly like a mining option. It's really hard these days to find legit mining apps for Android or iOS or even your web browser.

But FreeCash is another really cool and nifty way you can get free bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. So I wanted to add it into this article.

So this is a global GPT site, it's free to sign up for and it has tons of different ways you can make money, including surveys, gaming offers, surfing the web, shopping online, referring your friends and watching videos.

What's really cool is that some of its offerable tasks are also very high paying. You know, they pay anywhere from 10 to 50 or more, so it's quite lucrative there.

And there's also some passive income options like you can watch videos or you can refer your friends to earn as well. It only takes $0.50 to cash as well with some of its crypto rewards.

And there's bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin as options. You can also redeem PayPal cash and free gift cards starting at $5. So again, a bit of a versatile GPT site with the crypto flair. So I wanted to add it to this article.

Anyways guys, that does it for my favorite bitcoin mining apps for Android and iOS and even some different web applications you can use to get free bitcoin now.

And really I just wanted to wrap up this article with a quick note on scams because even in my research, a lot of information from even a couple of months ago is now out outdated.

And in a previous article it was talking about using these other websites like Peer to Profit or these other crypto mining apps for Android devices that have since gone bust and have since been proven to be scams.

You know, crypto as a space in general has a lot of scams, it has rug pulls, it has exit scams. And I'm not just talking about big exchanges like FTX and that debacle.

You know, lots of these bitcoin mining apps, yeah, they pay and they pay and they pay, and then one day they shut down and they take everyone's money. And Really, you have to do your own research when trying bitcoin mining apps or any kind of crypto mining application.

And you also have to be willing to take your money out quickly or to diversify it across a few platforms and wallet so you don't fall victim to one of these scams.

You know, you can also explore plenty of other options. Like I've been using Nexo in the past to stake crypto. And again, it's just a bit of a crazy space and platforms and companies go under all the time.

There's regulatory issues to consider. So do your own research, do your own due diligence and make sure you're never holding all of your crypto assets on one mining app, one wallet or one Exchange.

But yeah, I still think it's super cool that you can now mine bitcoin with your Android device or iPhone or even with your web browser.

So hopefully one of the ideas in this article helps you out. If there's an idea or mining app you've used as well, or one you really like or dislike, I'd love if you can let me know down in the comments as well.

But that does it for this one guys. Thank you so much for reading. Hope you have a fantastic day and week. And as always, don't forget to check out this ozearn.com for more unique ways to make and save.
